Comfort, safety & peace of mind
Motiva Flora® is the first and only MR Conditional magnet-free breast
tissue expander in the United States.
-
Soft to the touch
Motiva Flora® features our advanced SmoothSilk® surface, designed to reduce inflammation and complications related to internal scar tissue seen with other conventional tissue expanders.1,6
-
Anatomical shape
Motiva Flora® provides a natural-looking slope in the upper part and more fullness in the lower portion during the expansion process, promoting organic results in the reconstructed breast.7
-
MR Conditional & magnet-free port
Motiva Flora® is labeled as MRI conditional, meaning that you can safely undergo MRI scanning during the expansion process, under specific conditions.5
-
TrueFixation® system
Includes fixation tabs made from reinforced silicone, designed to improve breast symmetry and prevent possible displacement after surgery8, providing stability throughout the expansion process.
A first-of-its-kind
MRI Conditional Tissue Expander
Motiva Flora® is a next-generation MR Conditional tissue expander, meaning that the port used to fill your device does not contain a magnet and can be used safely under specific conditions during MR scanning.5
Traditional tissue expanders with magnetic ports can pose complications during vital MRI scans, and are often classified as MR Unsafe.9
However, the Motiva Flora® SmoothSilk® Tissue Expander was purposely built with a non-magnetic port detection system, designed to provide a safer solution for women needing MRI scans during the expansion process.5
Our advanced RFID port technology offers MR Conditional labeling and is designed to reduce the risks associated with conventional magnetic port tissue expanders.2,10,11

Real Stories

"I think that I’m a different person after having breast cancer because I think that so many things have awoken in me. I feel like you move forward. It’s like, I have so many strengths now, I feel like I’m more alive now. Waking up and seeing that my breasts were still there, I feel like it helped emotionally."

"One of the first things that I knew is that I needed to get an immediate reconstruction if it was at all possible because I knew that that was a very important part of my healing process. I challenged myself to grow in things that I had not wanted to grow in before."

"It was two months after my daughter was born. My breast became inflamed, we didn’t know what it was. I think that my essence, today, is due to all the strength that my mother showed me during her sickness. But I feel better, I am strong, and I want to achieve many things."
